Most of the time cold air isn't reaching the fresh-food side. Common causes are a frosted-over evaporator from a defrost problem, or an evaporator fan that stopped. The diagnostic pinpoints which one before you pay for any repair.
Is it worth repairing my refrigerator?
Often, yes. Fans, defrost parts, controls and valves are common repairs. You get the flat price before any work, so you can compare it against replacing the fridge and decide.
